The Stedman Gallery at Rutgers University–Camden is presenting sculpture, reliefs, and drawings of renowned artist and Rutgers alumnus George Segal, who earned a master of fine arts degree in 1963. A Zimmerli Museum-curated exhibit of photographer Donald Lokuta’s photographs of Segal's work is presented simultaneously. How does this correlate with the 250th anniversary? On November 5, when Rutgers hosts Indiana at High Point Solutions Stadium, if the Scarlet Knights score a touchdown with 2:50 left in any quarter, Rutgers will select 250 fans at random to win $1,000 each. Before the game, Rutgers Against Hunger will be attempting to collect a total of 250 pounds of nonperishable food at North Gate D and Gates A and B. At halftime, the 2006 “Pandemonium in Piscataway” team will be honored.

Photo op: The RevolUtionary monument will be located outside the stadium for fans to take photos. Fans are encouraged to post their photos with the monument on social media along with the hashtag #Rutgers250. The exact location around the stadium will be announced at a later date.

The School of Arts and Sciences’ Cyberlearning Innovation and Research Center (CIRC) with the Rutgers 250th Anniversary Office is running a special Rutgers 250 puzzle room and scavenger hunt to celebrate the University’s anniversary. Teams of 3-5 people can register for a time slot between November 6th and 13th to play “Rutgers Discovery” at the Douglass Student Center. The Discovery puzzle room will generate a unique set of scavenger hunt clues for each team that will take them on an exploration of the four New Brunswick campuses.
