A committee of faculty, staff, and students has issued recommendations to foster a university environment free from sexual and gender-based harassment. The 2019 report calls for new policies and procedures regarding consensual relationships, transparency in reporting and investigating harassment, training of faculty and staff, and assessment of the university’s efforts.

 
Economic Impact Report

Economic Impact Report: Rutgers Grows the Garden State

A 2017 study by the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy shows that Rutgers—the state’s third-largest nongovernmental employer—is a job creator and economic engine, supporting 58,000 jobs and generating $5.2 billion in annual economic activity for the state. For every $1 the state invests in Rutgers, the university returns almost $7 to the New Jersey economy.
