Expert's Biography:
Jeffrey Rubin, Ph.D., has been a professor of economics for more than 35 years. His research is focused on health economics including the impact of health insurance on use of care. He also has served on a subcommittee on the Governor's Commission that examined the situation facing hospitals in New Jersey, and has published papers on the costs of mental illness and the economic consequences of spinal cord injury.

Rubin received his B.A. in mathematics from Rutgers College and his Ph.D. from Duke University.
