The Remembering the Rutgers Puerto Rican Student Movement of the 1970s conference, held on October 14, commemorated the Puerto Rican and Latino student activism that helped shape the university. Panels of former student activists were moderated by associate professor Kathy López, shown here. Keynote speaker Johanna Fernández of Baruch College–City University of New York was also featured. The event included a community roundtable discussion, a tour of Livingston Campus, and a reception with live music by alumnus Bob Ramos.
