Rutgers students have participated in acts of dissent, resistance, protest, and solidarity, exhibiting a resoluteness to acknowledge, improve, and reform a range of injustices and topics. From war protest, including this student walkout on the fourth anniversary of the war in Iraq in 2007, to civil rights demonstrations and state education support rallies, student activism has a long history at Rutgers addressing an array of concerns.
