Flanked by Kirkpatrick Chapel to the left and Geology Hall to the right, Old Queens is the oldest of Rutgers’ buildings and one of the finest examples of Federal architecture in the nation. In the building’s cupola hangs the bell donated by Henry Rutgers that originally signaled the change of classes and now is rung only on special occasions.
