Jazz art exhibitions held at Rutgers University–Newark

Highlights of "Jazz@Rutgers 250: Music, Art, and the Written Word," held on March, 2, 2016, at Rutgers University–Newark, included a solo exhibit of the jazz-themed works of artist Faith Ringgold (above, left, with event co-chairs Gustav Friedrich, center, and Betty Turock, professors emeriti); live jazz; and an exhibition of the works of children’s book author Walter Dean Myers.
