In Memoriam

Amalia Schlueter, died on 10/23/2012.

Amalia (Genito) Schlueter died Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at Saint Peter's University Hospital. She was 58.

Born in New Brunswick, she was a lifelong resident of North Brunswick.

Schlueter was a communicant of St. Mary of Mt. Virgin RC Church in New Brunswick and worked as an administrator for Rutgers University for the last 10 years. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Caroline Genito. She is survived by her husband James Schlueter of North Brunswick; her daughters, Caroline Dougherty and her husband Tom of Milltown and Kathleen Salvador and her husband Mike of Ewing; a grandson, Christopher Salvador; her brothers, Patrick Genito and his wife Melanie of Monroe and Raymond Genito and his wife Carol of North Brunswick and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were 8:15 AM Friday from Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by a 9:00 AM Mass at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin RC Church in New Brunswick. Burial followed at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. Friends and relatives called at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4PM and 7-9PM.
